JAKES and Xtreme JAKES membership has its benefits

The NWTF is always looking for opportunities for our youngest members, which includes chances to win awesome hunts. Check out these upcoming contests:

Each year the NWTF and the Kansas Governor’s One Shot Turkey Hunt sponsor an essay contest. By writing a winning essay on the assigned topic, a lucky member and his/her chaperone could win an all expense paid hunt to El Dorado, Kan.
Thanks to a new partnership with Flies and Fletching and Outdoor Pursuits Worldwide youth can win an African dream hunt by completing a conservation project. A lucky member and their chaperone will win an all expenses paid African safari to Namibia. And there are awesome prizes for second and third place, too. This contest is for NWTF members ages 10 to 17.

JAKES Hunt of a Lifetime winner announced

Cole Cupit of Louisiana is this year’s JAKES Hunt of a Lifetime winner.

Cole is a member of the Delta Longbeards Chapter, and for the last few years, he has donated a knife he carved from a deer antler to be auctioned at his chapter’s annual banquet.

The banquet committee had a surprise for Cole this year. During the event, they brought the 13 year old on stage and presented him with a certificate for outstanding participation. Then they shocked Cole when they revealed he’d been randomly chosen from more than 100,000 JAKES members for the annual Hunt of a Lifetime.

Cole and his father won an all expenses paid hunt on the Tejon Ranch in California, hosted by accomplished hunter and game caller Alex Rutledge.

Every JAKES and Xtreme JAKES member is eligible for this annual drawing.
